our membership are central and local government departments, leading private
enterprises that manufacture drilling, pumping, electronic and ancillary
equipment, professional consultants, contractors and interested individuals.

The
BWA was formed in 1980 and our strategy is to promote awareness via education of
the consumer of the responsible use of the resource and its future management.
At all times guaranteeing the protection of groundwater by demanding the
application of minimum standards of practice.

with the latest developments in their industry.
-
Drilling
Contract: A document, which protects both contractor and end-user.
What we have achieved ...
-
By
providing technical knowledge, the BWA has assisted many contractors in
reducing their input costs.
-
By
recommending members to prospective clients, the BWA has provided many
quality sales leads.
-
By
promoting and ensuring standards, the BWA has helped end-users to see the
pit-falls of accepting 'cheap' quotes from unknown contractors.
-
By
providing independent arbitration, the BWA has settled many disputes.
-
By
compiling the BWA Membership Directory, the BWA has promoted members to
prospective customers.
-
By
acting as a 'watchdog', the BWA has kept members informed of all water
related activities.
